Samah Fahmy

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Samah Fahmy (suh-MAEH FAEH-mee) is a diverse visual designer, specializing in interior design and painting schemes. Her work has included designing and sewing wedding dresses, furniture design and fabrication, storyboard design for television commercials, residential interior design, and painting using a variety of mediums.

Her undergraduate education is from The Faculty of Fine Arts - Helwan University, in which she recieved a B.A. in Design during her five years of coursework. She plans on pursuing a Master's Degree in the near future. Her work has been shown in galleries in both Egypt and the U.S., most recently at the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is an active designer and educator in the Twin Cities area.
